To monitor resources from an Amazon Web Services subscription, it must be added to Netreo (only Netreo SuperAdmins can do this).

- Log in to Netreo as a SuperAdmin and open the Cloud Monitoring Administration page (Administration > Modules > Cloud Monitoring).
- In the Amazon Web Services section, select the Add AWS button.
- In the dialog that appears, fill out the required fields using the information from your Amazon subscription.
- NAME
This field is used for labeling within Netreo. The value is arbitrary and may be anything you decide. - ACCESS KEY ID
Enter the key from your subscription. - SECRET ACCESS KEY
Enter the secret key from your subscription. - DEFAULT REGION
Select a region that most closely identifies your location, or the region specified by Amazon. - SIGNATURE VERSION
Select the signature version to authenticate your AWS API requests.
- NAME
- Select Save.
Netreo is now configured to monitor your AWS subscription for new resources, which it will do roughly every five minutes. When a new resource is detected (if it is ping-able and responds to the credentials configured in Netreo) it will be automatically added and reported on as would any other device in your infrastructure.
