Service Check Category: Web Checks
Passive: No
Description: Checks the SSL certificate expiration date on the host to which the check is applied and compares it to the user configurable fields for WARNING and CRITICAL states. The check enters the respective state when the number of days until expiration of the certificate is less than or equal to that indicated in the respective field. (Note that both WARNING and CRITICAl states in service checks open incidents.)
This check is designed for use in device templates, so it always checks the host on the default port.
Check-specific Fields:
(See Service Check for generic configuration parameters.)
- Warning (days)
The number of days before this host's SSL certificate expires when the check should enter the WARNING state. - Critical (days)
The number of days before this host's SSL certificate expires when the check should enter the CRITICAL state. - DESCRIPTION
(Required) This field specifies a name for this check. The name entered must be unique among service check names on the host it is added to (the name may used again only on a different host). It is used to identify this specific check from among other service checks added to the same host.
