Cisco Configuration Save Alert (Service Check)

Description: This SNMP-based service check is used to check if the running configuration of a Cisco device has changed since the last time it was written to the terminal. Netreo queries SNMP OID’s from the CISCO-CONFIG-MAN-MIB (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43). The check will enter a CRITICAL state if the timestamp of the configuration change is greater than 3000 time ticks since the timestamp it received for the last Config Save.

This check also forces Netreo to retrieve the latest running configuration from the Cisco device if a configuration change has been detected on the device.

The OID’s used to gather saved and changed configuration timestamps are:

• Config Save: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43.1.1.3.0
• Config Changed: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43.1.1.1.0
