Article summary

Many of the dashboards in Netreo refresh their data display after a short interval. This interval is typically 180 seconds. If a dashboard is of the type that refreshes, the refresh counter will reset every time that dashboard page is loaded. The time remaining before the refresh occurs is displayed at the bottom of the screen as a diminishing horizontal blue line. The timer for the refresh rate can be changed in the system preferences.

Occasionally, you may encounter a situation that requires studying data located near the bottom of a very long page; but then the dashboard refreshes---sending you back to the top and losing your place on the page. If you find that you need to maintain your place in a dashboard page that refreshes, the refresh feature can be temporarily disabled for that page.

To disable the refresh feature for the page you are currently on, click the blue countdown bar at the bottom of the screen. In the dialog that appears, click the Stop Auto-refresh for Now button. Then close the dialog. The auto-refresh feature will be paused until you either reopen the dialog and click the Restart Auto-refresh button or navigate away from the page.

NOC View Dashboard Refresh
The NOC View dashboard operates in the same manner as described above. However, it has its own refresh timer override, which can be set by clicking the gear icon next to the "NOC VIEW" label at the top of the page.
