Disable a Service Engine in a Service Engine Group

Disabling a service engine halts all monitoring and polling for all devices assigned to that service engine.

Procedure

To disable an individual service engine within a service engine group, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to Netreo as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Administration > System > Service Engines to open the Service Engine Administration page.
  3. In the Service Engine Groups panel locate the service engine group that contains the service engine that you wish to disable and select its edit icon in the ACTIONS column.
  4. On the edit page for the service engine group locate the service engine that you wish to disable and set the switch in its ENABLED column to OFF.
  5. Select Save.
  6. In the dialog that appears type “CONFIRM.”
  7. Select Save Configuration.
