To completely disable statistics polling for a single managed device follow the steps below.
Turning off statistics polling for a device prevents Netreo from polling any new values for any statistics from the device. However, any existing history is preserved.
Turning off statistics polling for a device and then later turning it back on will produce a gap in the history of all statistic values for the length of time that polling was turned off.
- Log in to Netreo as a user with the Admin access level or higher.
- Locate the device for which you would like to disable statistics polling and select it to open its device dashboard.
- Specific devices can be located in Netreo by either drilling in to a Tactical Overview dashboard widget or searching for the device by name using the search feature at the top of the main menu.
- Select the gear icon in the top right of the dashboard to open the dashboard administrative view.
- On the Main tab locate the Poll Device panel.
- Select the toggle to change it to Disabled. (Select again to re-enable.)
- Select Apply Changes.
