Users List

This page is where Netreo administrators manage Netreo web users.

Function Buttons

Function buttons may be found in various areas around the page.

• Add New User - Click this button to add a new web user to Netreo. See also User Management.

User Table

This table lists the web user accounts for this Netreo deployment. The table may be sorted by any column with populated data.

Table Columns

• USERNAME - The username for this web user account. Used on the login screen. Users that are currently logged in the system show a user icon displayed next to their username.
• FIRST NAME - The first name of the user for this account.
• LAST NAME - The last name of the user for this account.
• ACCESS LEVEL - The access level associated with this web user account.
• USER DASHBOARD - The custom dashboard acting as this user's homepage in Netreo.
• USER PARTITION - The user partition to which this account has its access restricted.
• IDP USER - Identifies that this web user account is associated with a login from an external identity provider such as Active Directory or SAML.
• STATUS - Displays DISABLED when a user has their STATUS field edited to OFF. No label is displayed for users that are not disabled.
• LAST LOGIN - The date and time of this user's last login.
• ACTIONS- Two commands are available for users. Click the appropriate icon for the desired action.
  • Edit User - Make changes to the user. See Add/Edit User Page below.
  • Delete User - Permanently remove this web user account from Netreo.

Add/Edit User

This page is where Netreo administrators may add or make changes to Netreo web users. See also User Management.

Accessed by clicking the Add New User button on the main Users Administration page or by editing an existing user.

Function Buttons

• Users List - Return to the main page without saving any changes.
• Save Changes - Save changes to user and return to the main page.

Add/Edit User Panel

This panel is where web user information may be added or edited.

Panel Fields

• USERNAME - The username for this web user account. Requirements, valid/invalid characters.
• FIRST NAME - (Optional) The first name of the user for this account. May be populated by an external identity provider such as Active Directory.
• LAST NAME - (Optional) The last name of the user for this account. May be populated by an external identity provider such as Active Directory.
• PASSWORD - The login password for the above username. Requirements, valid/invalid characters.
• ACCESS LEVEL - The access level to be associated with this web user account.
• USER PARTITION - The user partition to which this account will have its access restricted.
• USER DASHBOARD - The custom dashboard that will act as this user's homepage in Netreo.
• FORCE PASSWORD CHANGE - Switch this to ON to force this user to change their password at their next login. Resets to OFF once that has occurred.
• STATUS - Switch to OFF to prevent this user from logging in to Netreo until set back to ON. When set to OFF, the user's status on the main page displays as DISABLED.
