WAN Summary Status by Business Workflow (Dashboard Widget)

Description

This widget provides a summary view of the site status of all sites in Netreo being monitored for interface status, organized by business workflow. It allows you to see the condition of your entire WAN from a single dashboard.

Display Mode

This widget has only a single display mode that will stretch horizontally to fill the space provided by the chosen dashboard layout.

Components

The main display of this widget consists of two elements: A summary of the aggregate site status of all sites in Netreo at the top left, and a grid of cards displaying a summary of the aggregate site status of all sites in an individual business workflow.

Both elements show the total number of sites that are currently in each status. See Site Status for more information on what each status means.

Hover the mouse over a business workflow card for a text breakdown of how many sites in that group are in each status.

Select a business workflow card to open a page containing a vertical bar chart of site status for the group and a Tactical Overview display for the group.

Hover the mouse over a bar in the chart for a text breakdown of how many sites in that business workflow are in that status.

Select a column title in the chart to open the Hosts & Services Status page where more details about status issues regarding host availability and service checks may be seen.

Configuration Options

This widget may be added to a generic custom dashboard on the Customize Dashboards page (Administration > Users > Custom Dashboards).

Multiple widgets of this type may be added to a dashboard, each with their own configuration.

When adding this widget to a dashboard, it must be configured before the widget can be used. After adding the widget to a dashboard, save the dashboard and then select the gear icon on the widget to open the options pop-up dialog.

The configuration fields and their descriptions are outlined below.

• VIEW - Select the business workflow(s) that this widget will display. Selecting All Business Workflows displays cards for every business workflow in Netreo that can be monitored in this way. Selecting Specific Business Workflow(s) allows you to select individual business workflows to be included in this widget's display. Multi-select is allowed.

After adding the widget and saving your options, remember to save the dashboard for its display to be updated.
