The Config Manager dashboard widget displays configuration change events from the Config Manager dashboard. It can show events using one of the three modes from that dashboard: TimeView, CalView or ListView.

Display Mode

This widget has only one display mode, and adjusts itself to fit the layout selected for the dashboard it’s placed in.

Display Options

Depending on the option selected in the VIEW field of the widget configuration, the widget will display one of three views: TimeView, CalView or ListView. These views correspond exactly to the views of the Config Manager dashboard and function in the same way. See Config Manager Dashboard for more information about how these modes work.

Components

This widget has only one component: A list of configuration change events. The number of events and how they are displayed changes depending on which display mode you choose in the widget configuration.

Configuration

Business Workflows Overview widgets are added to a dashboard on the Customize Dashboards page (Administration > Users > Custom Dashboards).

Only one widget of this type may be added to a dashboard.

When adding a Config Manager widget to a dashboard, it must be configured before the widget can be used. After adding the widget to a dashboard, click its gear icon button to open the widget options pop-up.

The fields and their descriptions are outlined below.

  • VIEW
    Select the display view for the widget. The three options match the display of the Config Manager dashboard: TimeView, CalView or ListView.

After adding the widget and saving your options, remember to save the dashboard for its display to be updated.
